6:00 AM – 7:00 AM: Wake Up and Morning Routine Residents wake up, shower, and get dressed. Morning hygiene routines are encouraged.
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Breakfast Nutritious breakfast is served. Residents encouraged to engage in social interactions during mealtime.
7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Morning Meditation or Mindfulness Session Guided meditation or mindfulness exercises to start the day with focus and calmness. Residents learn relaxation techniques to manage stress.
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Group Therapy Session 1 Led by a therapist or counselor. Focus on topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, or psychoeducation about addiction.
10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Morning Break Residents have a short break for restroom use and stretching.
10:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Individual Therapy Sessions Residents meet with their assigned therapist for personalized counseling sessions. Focus on individualized treatment goals and progress.
11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Balanced and nutritious lunch is served. Opportunity for socialization and bonding among residents.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Recreational Therapy or Physical Activity Structured activities such as yoga, sports, or outdoor walks. Encourages physical fitness and holistic well-being.
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Group Therapy Session 2 Another group therapy session focusing on different aspects of recovery. Topics may include family dynamics, trauma, or life skills development.
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Afternoon Break Residents have a short break for relaxation and personal time.
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Educational Workshops or Life Skills Training Workshops on topics such as job readiness, financial management, or healthy relationships. Empowers residents with practical skills for life after treatment.
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Dinner Evening meal provided with an emphasis on nutrition and healthy eating habits. Social time with fellow residents and staff.
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM: Free Time or Structured Activities
Residents may engage in recreational activities, hobbies, or quiet reflection.
Some evenings may feature guest speakers or special events.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: 12-Step Meeting or Support Group Residents participate in a support group meeting, such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. Encourages peer support and accountability.
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Evening Reflection and Journaling Residents reflect on their day and journal about their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Promotes self-awareness and mindfulness.
10:00 PM: Lights Out Residents prepare for bed and engage in relaxation techniques to promote restful sleep. This schedule provides a structured and supportive environment for residents to focus on their recovery journey while also addressing their physical, emotional, and social
needs. It incorporates a balance of therapeutic activities, educational opportunities, and
leisure time to foster holistic healing and growth.
